Provider Biography

Nichole Butler-MooYoung, MD, is a seasoned gynecologist with a passion for education and communication. Dr. Butler has been a strong advocate for advancing the gynecological care of women during their reproductive years and beyond since the early days of her practice. She prides herself in advancing her clinical and surgical skills in parallel with the division of obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Butler is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Butler completed her undergraduate education at Howard University and received her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago campus. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rush University Medical Center, graduating with distinction in June of 2000 as a benign obstetrician gynecologist. Since graduation, Dr. Butler has provided care for women primarily as a private practitioner in a smaller group practice.

Dr. Butler’s special interests include fibroids, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction. She is an aggressive minimally invasive surgeon with strong diagnostic skills. Dr. Butler excels in communicating with a diverse patient population and is focused on helping her patients become breast aware and reinforcing the importance of wellness examinations.
