Provider Biography

Jeannette Kelly, D.O., is an osteopathic sports medicine physician that specializes in non-surgical orthopedics and concussion management. She cares for patients of all ages, from the pediatric to geriatric population, and has a broad scope of practice. She treats all musculoskeletal complaints, whether it be acute injuries in athletics, like sprains, strains, fractures, and concussions, to chronic pain, such as overuse injuries, tendinitis, osteoarthritis, neck and back pain, and all joint pains (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, foot). She also completes sports physicals.

 Dr. Kelly takes a holistic approach to medicine, embracing osteopathic philosophies. She routinely practices Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) as another treatment option to help manage pain, and to prevent injuries.

Along with treating patients in the clinic, she is a team physician for Chicago State University, South Suburban College, Roosevelt University, Chicago House AC Soccer, Windy City Thunderbolts, Lincoln Park High School Soccer, Thornwood High School, Bloom High School, and Saint Rita of Cascia High School. She has been the team physician for Chicago Sky, Schaumburg Boomers, Hope Academy, and Saint Ignatius College Prep. She continues to participate in organized sports and endurance activities and finds these experiences to be beneficial in serving her patients.

Dr. Kelly is board certified in Family Medicine with a sub-specialization in Sports Medicine.

Earning her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, East Lansing, MI, Dr. Kelly went on to complete her residency training in Family Medicine at West Suburban Medical Center, Oak Park, IL. After residency, she completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at MacNeal Hospital, Berwyn, IL.

Dr. Kelly is currently accepting patients with musculoskeletal complaints, from sporting or work injuries to aches and pains. Patients also are welcome to see her for OMM treatments, weight loss management, exercise prescriptions and more.
